Robert Kelsey

Robert Kelsey was born in Glasgow in 1949 and was lucky enough to study at Glasgow School of Art in what is believed to be the best possible period in it’s history. He was there in the late 60’s when the painting school was run by David Donaldson, Alexander Goudie, and James Robertson. Three of Scotland’s top painters. Landscapes and Seascapes are his driving force and provides him with his inspiration.

He has travelled all over Europe and the Caribbean in search of subject matter, but it is the sparkling white sands of the Hebrides off the West coast of Scotland that provides him with his greatest inspiration.

Exhibitions in London, Edinburgh, Ireland, New York and Budapest.
